Please “DO NOT” travel abroad during summer vacation

https://taiwan.taiwanstay.net.tw/covhotel/

Dear Students,

In response to the COVID-19 epidemic, Taiwan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs remains the border control (www.boca.gov.tw/cp-220-5081-c06dc-2.html) and Taiwan Centers for Disease Control (CDC) requires all foreign nationals who are allowed entry into Taiwan still have to comply with relevant quarantine measures (www.cdc.gov.tw/en/Disease/SubIndex/). Therefore, NTU requires all students to refrain from going abroad during this summer vacation in order to keep you safe and healthy.

If you need to leave Taiwan, please fill the “Travel Abroad Declaration and Application Form” and submit it to Overseas Students Advising Division (3th floor, 1nd Admin Bldg) during (09:00-17:00, Monday to Friday) at least 2 weeks before your departure day.

Please note if you leave Taiwan, you will have to bear all the quarantine process and expenses occurred, such as housing fee, food and etc. upon your return, and you will not be allowed to stay in the dormitory for quarantine if you live on campus now.

For information about isolation/quarantine hotels, please refer to:
