" National Taiwan University Overseas Chinese Student Language Learning and Certification Subsidy Program " for the year 113 (2024).

 

1. Eligibility:

Currently enrolled overseas Chinese students at NTU.

 

2. Application Period:

April 1, 2024 to November 22, 2024. Please prepare the required documents and submit your application within the specified period. Only on-time applications will be accepted.

 

3. Application Procedure:

After completing the online application at https://forms.gle/XV3ZyaswFgEWcXz7A, please submit the "Required Documents" and the receipt for the course fee (or examination registration fee) to the Overseas Students Advising Division to complete the application process.

Note: The online application and submission of the required documents must be completed to finalize the application process.

 

4. Subsidy Amount:

The subsidy provided by this program is a one-time payment. The subsidy items and amounts are as follows:

1Students who enroll in language learning courses offered by the NTU Language Center and Foreign Language Teaching & Resource Center may apply for a subsidy towards their course tuition. However, students can only apply once a year; the maximum subsidy is NT$20,000.

2Students who participate in language proficiency examinations and pass them may apply for a verified subsidy based on the examination fee amount. However, students can only apply once a year for the same level of examination.

 

5. Required Documents :

1Application form.

2The original payment certificate for 2024 (limited to invoices or receipts issued by institutions in Taiwan, ex, registration fees of TOEIC, IELTS, General English Proficiency Test, and other examinations); if the registration fees of the examination can only be paid by global credit cards and institutions in Taiwan issue no invoices or receipts, please attach proof of global credit card payment (ex: TOEFL).

3Proof of current enrollment (You can obtain it from myNTU -> EPO Academic Records -> Print Proof of Enrollment, URL: https://my.ntu.edu.tw/).

4A record of learning achievements should be attached for students who have taken language learning courses offered by the NTU Language Center and Foreign Language Teaching & Resource Center.

5A copy of the official score report should be attached for students who have participated in language proficiency examinations and passed.

 

6. Subsidy Quota and Eligibility:

We will plan the annual subsidy quota according to the yearly budget. We determine the subsidized students based on the order in which all required documents are submitted.
