Students in their second year or above:
1. The average academic and conduct grades from the previous academic year must be passing and A or above, respectively. If the student was not enrolled for any reason in the previous academic year, the most recent academic year's grades for academics and conduct will be considered.
2. No disciplinary actions more severe than a warning.

2. Application form and review standards form for the Scholarship for Economically Disadvantaged Overseas Chinese Students (including the certificate attachment sheet).
3. Proof of economic hardship issued by a unit recognized by the Overseas Community Affairs Council or other supporting documents. If the documents are not in Chinese or English, they must be translated into Chinese or English.
4. Photocopy of the student ID card (both sides) with the registration stamp for the current semester; if there is no registration stamp, additional proof of enrollment for the current semester must be attached. Please print the proof of enrollment from myNTU-epo Learning Portfolio (https://my.ntu.edu.tw/)
5. Photocopy of the admission notice from the Overseas Joint Admission Committee or the Overseas High School Recommendation Admission (Independent Admission) notice.
6. For students in the second year or above, the original transcript for the entire previous academic year or the most recent academic year must be submitted. Please request it from the Registration Division or print it from the machine. "Grade Notification" and "myNTU Query of Grade Records" are not accepted.
7. Certificates of honor and discipline (download from the myNTU honor and discipline System).
8. Transferring overseas Chinese students must submit a transfer certificate or a study (completion) certificate from the previous school and a transcript for the entire previous academic year or the most recent academic year that meets the application standards.

Financially disadvantaged overseas Chinese students (as recognized by the Overseas Community Affairs Council, OCAC) with all passing grades in the previous academic year, who have not received any disciplinary actions during their studies, and who meet any of the following criteria, may apply for this scholarship (excluding students in in-service programs). Those who have received a total scholarship amount exceeding NT$240,000 in the previous academic year are not eligible to apply:
1. Ranked in the top 50% of their class in academic performance in the previous academic year..
2. Having any of the following circumstances without academic performance ranking, but recommended by their advisor or supervising professor for excellent academic performance:
(1) Courses taken were not graded with scores or ranks.
(2) Due to studying abroad for exchange, visits, or dual degree programs, no courses from NTU were taken.
(3) DNo academic performance ranking in the previous educational institution.
