[Forward] Overseas Community Affairs Council anti-fraud EDMs
Recently, media reports have highlighted that scam groups are using social media platforms to impersonate official accounts of financial institutions, deceiving overseas Chinese students into making transfers. To prevent falling victim to such scams, students must remain vigilant against fraud to avoid losing valuable assets. The Overseas Community Affairs Council has produced anti-fraud EDMs in five languages—Thai, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Burmese, and English (as attachments)—to remind overseas Chinese students to stay alert and verify information to avoid being deceived.
