【Announcement】Application for the "Ministry of Education Outstanding and Elite Overseas Chinese Student Scholarships" - New Student Application and Continuing Student Renewal(Deadline: 4:00 PM on September 11)

According to The Guidelines for the Ministry of Education Outstanding and Elite Overseas Chinese Student Scholarships

Announcement Details:

  1. Eligibility:
    • [New Students] who have obtained the "Certificate of Eligibility for the Ministry of Education Outstanding and Elite Overseas Chinese Student Scholarships for the 113th Academic Year."
    • [Continuing Students] who meet the renewal standards for the 112th Academic Year:

(a) Completed at least nine credits per semester during the academic year.

(b) Achieved an average GPA of 3.76 or above for the 112th academic year, with conduct grades of A- or above.

  1. Application Period: From now until 4:00 PM on September 11, 2024
  2. Application Procedure: Submit the following required documents (as listed in Announcement Item 4) in person to Mr. Chen at the Overseas Chinese and Mainland Chinese Students Advising Division (Room 112, Administration Building).
  3. Required Documents:

(a) Identification sticker sheet.sample of identification photocopy. (If new students have not yet applied for a residence permit, postal account, or bank account, please submit these after the application process is completed).

(b) "Certificate of Eligibility for the Ministry of Education Outstanding and Elite Overseas Chinese Student Scholarships."

(c) Certification of Enrollment for the current yeardownload from the myNTU-EPO system

(d) Transcripts for both semesters of the 112th Academic Year (not required for new students) (printed from the machine next to the Academic Affairs, query records are not accepted).

  1. Scholarship Amount:

(a) Elite: NT$25,000 per month per recipient.

(b) Outstanding: NT$10,000 per month per recipient.

(c) Outstanding (New Students): NT$12,500 per month per recipient.

  1. Recipients of this scholarship are not eligible to receive other government tuition fee subsidies, waivers, or scholarships.
