Degree Verification

You are required to submit your verified diploma and transcript during NTU Registration Days.

Usually, the verification (authentication) procedures consume a lot of time (more than 2 months), please start the process as soon as possible.

Please note that you will not be able to complete the registration procedure (in February) without presenting all the required documents.
 

1. Based on Region

Foreign Degree Verification
You are required to have all foreign diplomas and transcripts verified by the Taiwan Embassy/Mission in the country of the institution before submission. If your transcripts and diplomas (or graduation certificates) are not in Chinese or English, please first translate them into English or Chinese and verify the translated documents as well as the original documents. Please have all necessary documents verified before arrival in Taiwan.

Hong Kong and Macao Degree Verification

Mainland Chinese Degree Verification
The verification procedure for Mainland Chinese diplomas is different than the general degree verification.

2. Based on Admission Method

Admission by University Entrance Committee for Overseas Chinese Students
(1) Verification is not required.
(2) However, if your academic credentials are not in Chinese or English, they must be translated into Chinese or English and then verified by a Taiwan diplomatic mission or a designated agency by the Overseas Community Affairs Council.

Overseas High School Recommendation Admission
(1) Original copy of the foreign high school diploma and official transcripts.
(2) These documents must first be verified by a Taiwan diplomatic mission or a designated agency by the Overseas Community Affairs Council. If the documents are not in Chinese or English, they must be translated into Chinese or English before verification.
