[Forwarded] 2026 Taiwan Visitors Association Scholarships – Applications Open Until October 5
The Taiwan Visitors Association is now accepting applications for the 2026 Taiwan Visitors Association Scholarships. Students are encouraged to demonstrate their professional expertise and creativity through tourism-related research or short-form video creation. Details are as follows:
I. Tourism Research Scholarship
Eligibility: University-level or above students currently enrolled in Taiwan, regardless of nationality or field of study. Applications may be submitted individually or as a team.
Research Topics: Research related to tourism, including the tourism industry, policy, marketing, markets, and other relevant areas.
Awards: NT$200,000 for first place, NT$100,000 for second place, and NT$50,000 for third place.
II. “Taiwan: A Journey You Can’t Miss” Short Video Scholarship
Participants are invited to create a 90-second Instagram Reel showcasing Taiwan’s diverse tourism attractions, including its natural landscapes, culture, travel experiences, local hospitality, and sustainable tourism.
Eligibility: Students currently enrolled in senior high school, vocational high school, college, university, or above in Taiwan. Applications may be submitted individually or as a team.
Awards: NT$50,000 for first place, NT$30,000 for second place, NT$20,000 for third place, and NT$10,000 for Honorable Mention.
