【Scholarship Announcement】2026 CTCI Foundation Overseas Student Employment in Taiwan Grant
To support overseas students who wish to pursue careers in Taiwan after graduation, the CTCI Foundation has established the 2026 Overseas Student Employment in Taiwan Grant. This grant aims to provide financial assistance during the early stages of employment and encourage outstanding overseas graduates to contribute to Taiwan’s science, technology, and industrial development. Eligible students are encouraged to apply.
Eligibility
Applicants must meet one of the following criteria:
Category 1: Department Recommendation
- Master's or doctoral graduates (current or immediately preceding academic year) from designated science- and engineering-related departments or institutes at NTU.
- An average academic score of 80 or above throughout graduate studies.
- Employed in Taiwan in scientific research or technology-related work (excluding postdoctoral research).
Category 2: Previous Recipients of the CTCI Foundation Research Scholarship for Overseas Graduate Students
- Master's or doctoral graduates (current or immediately preceding academic year) who have previously received the CTCI Foundation Research Scholarship for Overseas Graduate Students.
- Applicants may apply directly to the CTCI Foundation without departmental recommendation.
- Employed in Taiwan in scientific research or technology-related work (excluding postdoctoral research).
Award Quota and Amount
- Department Recommendation Category: Up to 10 recipients; each will receive NT$100,000.
- Previous Scholarship Recipient Category: Up to 10 recipients; each will receive NT$100,000.
Selection Criteria
Applications will be evaluated based on:
- Academic performance
- Outstanding achievements and Chinese language proficiency
- Career development plan in Taiwan
Applicants successfully matched through the CTCI Overseas Student Employment Platform will receive priority consideration.

Eligible applicants should prepare the required documents and contact their department/institute office directly for application and recommendation procedures before the application deadline.
Application Period
July 1, 2026 – September 10, 2026 (based on postmark date). Late applications will not be accepted.
