[Emergency Relief] Application Information for the “Emergency Relief Fund for Indonesian Overseas Compatriot Students” by the Indonesian Overseas Chinese Association in Taiwan


The Indonesian Overseas Chinese Association in Taiwan has established the “Emergency Relief Fund for Indonesian Overseas Compatriot Students” to provide emergency assistance to Indonesian Overseas Compatriot students in Taiwan who face financial hardship due to major illness, accidents, or family emergencies during their studies. Eligible NTU Indonesian Overseas Compatriot students in need are welcome to refer to the following information.

1. Eligibility
   Indonesian Overseas Compatriot students studying at senior high school, vocational school, junior college, university, or graduate school in Taiwan who encounter an emergency during their studies and experience financial or living difficulties.

2. Types of Assistance
   (1) Emergency living assistance
   (2) Medical assistance
   (3) Funeral assistance

3. Subsidy Amount
   Each approved case may receive NT$5,000 to NT$30,000. The actual amount will be determined based on case review.

4. Application Conditions
   Applicants must meet one of the following conditions:
   (1) Financial hardship caused by major illness, hospitalization, or medical expenses.
   (2) Living or financial difficulties caused by natural disasters, accidents, or family emergencies.
   (3) Other major emergency situations requiring immediate assistance.
   (4) In the event of the applicant’s death, assistance may be provided if the applicant’s relatives, friends, or classmates in Taiwan are unable to cover funeral expenses.

5. Application Method
   Applicants should complete the application form and submit the required supporting documents to the Indonesian Overseas Chinese Association in Taiwan.

6. Required Documents
   (1) Emergency relief application form
   (2) Copy of ARC
   (3) Copy of student ID card or certificate of enrollment
   (4) Proof of family financial status or low-income status
   (5) Medical diagnosis certificate, if applying for medical assistance
   (6) Medical receipts or other relevant expense documents
   (7) Other supporting documents useful for review
   (8) Bank account information of the applicant or approved representative, such as a copy of the bankbook cover
   (9) Personal data collection and use consent form
