[Announcement for Application] Mr. Lin Chih-Chen Southeast Asian Scholarship at National Taiwan University for the 113th Academic Year (Application Deadline: March 12 at Noon)

According to the National Taiwan University Mr. Lin Chih-Chen Southeast Asian Scholarship Establishment Guidelines, the following details are announced:

 

1. Eligibility:

Students currently enrolled in the bachelor's and master's programs at National Taiwan University, holding Indonesian, Filipino, or Vietnamese citizenship, and with no record of disciplinary action. This includes master's students who only worked on their thesis without course records in the previous semester.

2. Quota and Amount: 6-10 students, each receiving NT$120,000.

2. Application Period: From now until March 12 at 12:00 noon.

3. Application Procedure: Please apply online via the university's "Student Financial Support Service (Scholarships)": https://my.ntu.edu.tw/fao/login.aspx, and arrange the following required documents in order (no need to bind) and submit them in hard copy to Mr. Chen of the Overseas Compatriot and Mainland Chinese Students Advising Division(Room 112, Administration Building).

4. Required Documents:

(1) List of documents to be submitted (printable after completing the online application through the "Student Financial Support Service (Scholarships)" system. Sample documents/print document submission list SOP).

(2) Identification sticker sheet (sample of identification photocopy).

(3)Certification of Enrollment for the second semester of the 114 academic years (download from the EPO system).

(4) Chinese transcript for the 114-1 semester (apply or print out from the Registration/Teaching and Research Section; 'Grade Notification' and 'myNTU Grade Records' are not accepted).

(5) Certificates of honor and discipline (download from the myNTU honor and discipline System).

(6) Statement of Purpose for Study (may be written in either Chinese or English). The content must include:

a. Self-introduction (including personal characteristics, personal growth, and social media engagement/management).

b. Family background, educational journey, and reasons for choosing to study in Taiwan.

c. Future development plans (including whether you intend to stay in Taiwan after graduation and your career development plans).

(7) Two recommendation letters from faculty members or senior students at the university.
