Important Reminder: Safety Tips for Overseas Compatriot Students Staying in Taiwan During the Lunar New Year

Dear Overseas Compatriot Students,
According to a reminder from the Overseas Community Affairs Council (OCAC), some overseas compatriot students remain in Taiwan during the Lunar New Year holiday. We would like to kindly remind you to stay alert and pay close attention to your personal safety, especially when traveling or going out during the holiday period.

To help ensure your safety, please take note of the following reminders:

-When traveling or going out, please be mindful of traffic safety and avoid high-risk or isolated areas. 
-Try to travel with companions, especially at night, and keep in regular contact with friends or family. 
-Take good care of your personal belongings and important documents to prevent loss or fraud.
-If you feel unwell or encounter any unexpected or emergency situations, please seek assistance immediately.

In case of an accident or emergency, please contact the Overseas Compatriot and Mainland Chinese Students Advising Division at NTU (Contact overseas compatriot counselors in each overseas residence area of National Taiwan University.) as soon as possible. We will provide necessary assistance and support.
