The 2026 International and Overseas Chinese Students Singing Competition, organized by the NTU Malaysian Students' Association (NTUMSA), is now open for registration!

We warmly invite all eligible students to join us in this exciting event to enhance cultural exchange and discover your artistic potential. Whether you are a solo singer or part of a group, this is your chance to shine and win generous cash prizes (up to TWD 4,000 for the champion)!
 

I. Event Information

• Eligibility: 

Overseas Chinese students, Mainland Chinese students and international students enrolled at the National Taiwan University (NTU), National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) or National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST) are eligible to compete. 

** Teams in the Group Competition may be formed across these three universities, provided that all members meet the aforementioned enrollment criteria.

• Preliminary Round:
  • Registration Method           : Online registration via https://forms.gle/h7nVXWqQxsQbDejU6
  • Registration Opens              : February 4, 2026 (Wednesday) at 3:00 PM
  • Registration Deadline         : February 28, 2026 (Saturday) at 11:59 PM
  • Required Documents          : A One-minute video clip and a signed Declaration Form.
• Finals:
  • Date : March 29, 2026 (Sunday)
  • Time : 3:30 PM to 9:30 PM
  • Venue        : First Student Activity Center Auditorium (Yi-Ren Hall), National Taiwan University.

II. Registration Guidelines

• Method                                : Please complete the online registration through the link provided above.
• Registration Period       : From February 4, 2026 (Wednesday) at 3:00 PM to February 28, 2026 (Saturday) at 11:59 PM
• Required Documents    :
  1. A One-minute video clip
  2. Signed Declaration Form

III. Competition Details

1. Preliminary Round Mechanism:

• Participants must complete the online form and upload both the One-minute video and the Declaration Form before the deadline. 
• A panel of judges will evaluate all videos that meet the eligibility and format requirements. The list of finalists is expected to be announced on March 15, 2026 (Sunday) on our official social media platforms.

2. Finals Mechanism: 

• Finalists must complete the "Finals Data Collection Form" within the designated period. 

** Contestants must confirm their song choice, lyrics, and equipment requirements by March 18, 2026, at 23:59. No changes will be allowed after this deadline.

• Competition Format:
  • Individual Category: 2 Rounds 
    • First Round                   : Top 16 → Top 8
    • Second Round  : The final 8 compete for the titles
  • Group Category: 2 Rounds 
    • First Round                   : Top 8 → Top 4
    • Second Round  : The final 4 groups compete for the titles

3. Popularity Award:

• Eligibility  : Only for finalists who opted in for the Popularity Award on the initial registration form.
• Promotion          : For qualified participants, the organizer will use the preliminary video as promotional material and share it publicly on our official Facebook and Instagram.
• Voting       : Voting will be conducted via an online form (details to be announced). The contestant with the most valid votes will win the Online Popularity Award.
• Method     : Based on the results of the official Online Voting (40%) and On-site Voting (60%) on the day of the finals.

• All awards include one trophy and one certificate per person. • Certificates will be issued after the competition; further details will be announced separately. • The Popularity Award is only open to finalists who have opted in via the registration form.
