2025 Northern Taiwan Overseas Chinese Students Symposium, hosted by the Overseas Chinese Association HQ
The Overseas Chinese Association HQ, in line with the Overseas Community Affairs Council (OCAC) policy of “Attracting, Nurturing, and Retaining Overseas Chinese Talents,” is organising an event to provide overseas Chinese students with the latest national policy updates, enhance cross-cultural understanding, and strengthen their future employability.
The event will be held on Wednesday, 26 November 2025, at 2:30 p.m., at JDH DianHua Banquet Hall (No. 8, Zhifu Rd., Dazhi, Taipei City; about a 3-minute walk from MRT Jiannan Road Station, Exit 2).
Programme Highlights
A professional lecturer will deliver a keynote session on “Global Communication Competence,” followed by an immersive activity titled “Snowflakes Everywhere.” Through games and interactive experiences, the programme aims to foster cross-cultural understanding and teamwork among overseas Chinese students.
To maximise the learning outcomes, universities are encouraged to nominate students with strong Mandarin listening and speaking abilities to participate.
