Post-Graduation Internship Application for Overseas Chinese Students, Students from Hong Kong and Macao, and International Students
To comply with the university’s internal processing timeline, eligible students who wish to apply for post-graduation internships in Taiwan must submit all required documents to the NTU Career Center no later than May 20, 2025.
1. Application Deadline
The Ministry of Education (MOE) has set the official application submission date as June 13, 2025. To ensure timely processing and approval, the Career Center will collect applications internally by May 20, 2025.
2. Eligibility
Applicants must not hold household registration in Taiwan and meet one of the following criteria. In addition, they must submit an internship agreement from the intended host organization (stating internship content, duration, and stipend), and apply at least 2 months before their ARC expires.
- Students who will receive a master’s degree or above in the current semester, with no record of withdrawal during their studies.
- Students who will receive a bachelor’s degree in the current semester, with no record of withdrawal, and a cumulative GPA of 70 or above, with a written recommendation from their department.
-Students who will receive a bachelor’s degree or above, with proven outstanding performance in international or national competitions or exhibitions, or in other specialized fields, with supporting documents and recommendations from their university or a recognized institution.
- Students who will receive a bachelor’s degree or above, have no record of withdrawal, and have passed the first stage of Taiwan’s national medical licensing exam, intending to enter general medical training.
3. Application Procedure
Applicants must submit the following to the Career Center by the stated deadline:
- Completed Application Form
- Academic Transcript
- Internship Agreement from the host organization
- Supporting documents based on the nature of the host organization, such as:
• Business registration certificate and either the latest corporate income tax filing or purchase records.
• Newly established companies or foreign financial offices in Taiwan are exempted from tax filing requirements.
• For foundations under government ministries: registration certificate and organizational documents.
• For internships under academic-industry cooperation: a copy of the agreement or proof of partnership.
• For general medical training at approved hospitals: official documents issued by the Ministry of Health and Welfare.
The Career Center receives the application and reviews the eligibility and completeness of documents according to MOE's Operation Directions Governing Applications for Internships after Graduating from University/College in Taiwan. If the application meets all requirements, the Career Center will submit it to MOE. The final result will be announced upon receiving MOE’s response.
