Academic Year 113 "National Taiwan University for Mr. Wen Tzu-Hsiang Memorial Scholarship "Now Open(Extension of Application Deadline to November 1 Due to Typhoon Kong-rey)

1.Eligible Recipients
Mainland Chinese students with provincial origin from Fujian or Overseas Chinese students from Hong Kong are eligible to apply.

2.Recipient Quota
The quota for the Scholarship is two recipients per academic year. Priority will be given to Mainland Chinese students whose household registration is in Shanghang County of the Fujian Province, followed by Mainland Chinese students from the Fujian Province and Overseas Chinese students from Hong Kong.

3.Amount of Scholarship and Issuance Details
The amount of the Scholarship is NT$100,000 per recipient per academic year. The amount of NT$50,000 per semester shall be issued to the recipients, for a duration of two semesters in total.

4.Qualifications
(1)Applicants shall be degree students currently enrolled in the second (or higher) year of study in a Master's or PhD Program of the University.
(2)Applicants shall have a grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.38 in each semester prior to the application, or a thesis/dissertation topic of high originality.
(3) Applicants shall have no record of disciplinary action from the University.

(1) List of documents to be submitted (printable after completing the online application through the "Student Financial Support Service (Scholarships)" system.

(4) Letter of recommendation by a professor/instructor at the applicant's affiliated department or graduate institute (one copy)

(6) Document(s) to prove the applicant's provincial origin, including the alien resident certificate (ARC), household registration card, or other forms of proof that may indicate the provincial origin of the applicant or their blood relatives in the direct paternal line of descent.
(7)Relevant documents of proof for applicants whose qualification is based on the originality of their research topic.
(8) Other relevant materials provided for review.
