【Event】Registration Open for the 113th Academic Year "Hike for Overseas and Mainland Chinese Students" until October 13th
Dear Students,
The annual hike for overseas and Mainland Chinese students is now open for registration! Spots are limited, so sign up early to secure your place.
※ Since spots are limited, please ensure you are available to attend on Saturday, November 16th before registering!!!
※ This year’s hike will take place at the Caoling Historic Trail in Yilan. The route includes multiple uphill and staircase sections, which can be physically demanding. Please consider your physical fitness before registering.

Overseas Chinese Students Association: 21 people
Graduate Overseas Students Association: 14 people
Mainland Chinese Students Association: 30 people
Staff from Overseas Chinese and Mainland Chinese Students Advising Division: 7 people
※ 30% of the spots are reserved for freshmen from each association.
Event Schedule (tentative):
07:00-07:10 Gather and check in at the main gate
07:15-08:35 Travel by bus
09:00-12:30 Hike at Caoling Historic Trail (Rain alternative: Lanyang Museum)
13:10-14:30 Lunch and raffle (Raffle open to non-exchange overseas and Mainland Chinese students)
15:00-16:30 DIY printmaking
16:30-18:00 Return
Registration:

(2) Registration period: Now until Sunday, October 13th
(3) List of successful registrants: To be announced on Tuesday, October 15th
※ Please ensure you are available on Saturday, November 16th before registering!!!
Raffle Prize Collection:
(1) Prizes can be collected from Overseas Chinese and Mainland Chinese Students Advising Division from Monday, November 18th to Wednesday, November 20th.
(2) Winners must provide passport numbers, Alien Resident Certificate (ARC) numbers, or Taiwan ID numbers.
(3) Raffle Prize Tax: If you have spent less than 183 days in Taiwan in 2024, a 20% tax will be deducted from your prize, regardless of the amount. If you have spent 183 days or more in Taiwan in 2024, the same tax rules as for residents apply.
