Academic Year 2024 "Taipei City Guangdong Association Scholarship"

  • Eligibility Requirements:
    1. Only open to undergraduate and graduate students (doctoral year 4 and below, master's year 2 and below) of Cantonese descent, excluding students who have extended their studies, are in-service education students, exchange students, or first-year freshmen. Please prepare and submit the required documents in paper form to the Overseas and Mainland Chinese Student Advising Division.
    2. Academic and conduct grades from the 2023-2024 academic year must average above 80 points, with a passing grade in physical education.
    3. Recipients cannot be receiving scholarships from the Overseas Community Affairs Council (OCAC), the Overseas Chinese Association, or the Federation of Overseas Chinese Associations.
    4. Recipients must attend the award ceremony in person. If someone else accepts the award on behalf of the recipient, the scholarship will be revoked.
  • Required Documents:
    1. List of required documents (refer to the application system instructions. After logging into the system, do not select any conditions. Directly type "Guangdong" in the keyword field and select "Apply" to proceed with the online application, submit, and print).
    2. Application form from the association.
    3. Copy of the front of the Alien Resident Certificate (ARC).
    4. Original enrollment certificate (must be purchased from machines outside the Registration Office) or a copy of the front of the student ID card (with the NTU Registration Office/Graduate School 113-1 registration seal).
    5. Original transcript for all academic years and a copy of the conduct certificate.
    6. Overseas Chinese students must provide an official document copy proving the Cantonese descent of themselves or their direct relatives. Mainland Chinese students must provide their Household Registration Record.
    7. A copy of the cover of the applicant's bank or postal savings account passbook.
    8. An autobiography limited to 300 words or less.
