The Overseas Community Affairs Council (OCAC) has introduced the virtual digital card “i Compatriot Card” to serve overseas Chinese students and students from Hong Kong and Macau studying in Taiwan better. With this card, you can enjoy discounts at participating partner stores https://icard.taiwan-world.net/tw/index. Currently, there are over 4,000 partner stores worldwide, including businesses such as China Airlines, EVA Air, Dr. Glasses, and the National Palace Museum, with more to be added in the future. Please note that a valid “i Compatriot Card” number will be required in future applications for OCAC scholarships, work-study programs, learning assistance grants, emergency medical assistance, and registration for events organized or co-organized by OCAC, such as training camps for student organization leaders, academic competitions, and workshops. Therefore, we encourage students to apply for the i Compatriot Card to facilitate future application processes.

The previously issued "Overseas Chinese Card" has expired on December 31, 2022.

★ Issuance: Students apply through their school, and after approval by OCAC, a virtual card will be issued. The activation and card number will be notified via email.
