[Announcement] Partial Amendments and Publication of the Employment Service Act Qualification and Review Standards for Foreign Workers and Related Tables
- According to the Ministry of Labor’s letter No. 1130509126D dated June 14, 2024.
- The Ministry of Labor has amended some provisions of the "Qualification and Review Standards for Foreign Workers under Subparagraphs 1 to 6, Paragraph 1, Article 46 of the Employment Service Act" and the Appendix Table of Article 5-1. These amendments, issued under the Ministry’s directive No. 1130509126 on June 14, 2024, include the following key points:
- Addition of social worker positions as specialized or technical jobs, specifying qualifications for foreigners and employers.
- Inclusion of securities, futures, and financial business jobs under financial and taxation service job contents.
- Dispatch and supervision jobs under manufacturing job contents are also included.
- Revision of the evaluation table for overseas Chinese and foreign students staying in Taiwan for work, adding internship experience and adjusting the scoring distribution and total points for receiving government scholarships during their studies.
