We are excited to invite you to the "NTU Lunar New Year Gathering," which will be held on December 24th (Sunday) from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the old gymnasium on our campus. The event, hosting around 700 participants including our overseas chinese students, mainland chinese students and international students, will feature ancestral worship ceremony, banquet, opening calligraphy performance, red envelopes offering, lion dance performance, student clubs performances, lucky draw session, and more.

 

Event Details:

Date and Time: December 24th, 2023, Sunday, 10:30 AM - 1:30 PM

Venue: Old Gymnasium, National Taiwan University

Participants: NTU overseas Chinese students, mainland Chinese students, and international students (approximately 700 participants)

Registration Information: Registration Period: From now until December 8th (Friday) at 4:00 PM, or until full capacity is reached.

Registration Process (Individual Online Registration → Individual/Group On-site Payment):

1. [Individual Online Registration] Fill out the registration form: https://forms.gle/VZAJso5KoeoCs9BT9
2. [Payment and Lucky Draw Tickets Collection] Submit the registration fee at the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office (Room 112 in the Administration Building) → Collect the lucky draw coupon → Register for your seat.
3. [Table Assignment] Refer to the seating arrangement chart (based on the remaining tables/seats at the time of on-site payment).

※ Those who have not completed the payment will be considered as not registered.

※ Group reservations and payments are accepted; however, individual members must first complete personal registration online. Representatives should present the original/copy/photo (choose one) of the student ID for the person they are representing. There is no limit on the number of participants in a group.

※ After completing the registration and payment, lucky draw coupons will be issued immediately. Please keep them safe, as replacements will not be provided if lost.

 

Registration Fee: NT$100 per person.

Payment Deadline: December 8th (Friday) at 4:00 PM.

To encourage interaction among foreign students and help them make new friends, participants can receive a free printed photo by following these steps:

2. On the day of the event, leave a comment with a photo of you and your new friends along with your lucky draw voucher on the Overseas Students Advising Division Facebook post for " Lunar New Year Gathering."
3. Show the completed screen to the staff on-site for a complimentary photo print.
