【Notice from the Overseas Students Advising Division】Updated Exit and Entry Regulations for 2022 Summer Vacation(Overseas Chinese Students)
Dear Fellow Overseas Chinese Students,
Greetings from Overseas Students Advising Division.
As the Taiwan government is loosening epidemic prevention measures, starting from today, we will not require Travel Abroad Declaration Form from you before you leave Taiwan. If you will travel abroad during this summer vacation, please refer to the following procedures that you need to complete and other important information regarding your travel:
(一) Entry with a valid ARC
1.For students entering Taiwan with a valid ARC, please be sure to fill in the following form and notify the Overseas Students Advising Division 2 weeks before returning to Taiwan

2. According to the "Entry restrictions for foreigners to Taiwan in response to COVID-19 outbreak" (updated at any time) by the Immigration Department of the Ministry of the Interior, students who are currently holding a valid Alien Residence Certificate (ARC) can enter the country on their own (but can be adjusted at any time). Make sure you have a valid Alien Resident Certificate (ARC) when you return.

(二)Entry without a valid ARC
1.If you do not hold a valid ARC, we must apply to the Ministry of Education for a special entry permit for you. Apply for a new visa and obtain an "Overseas Students Entry Permit Certificate" in order to enter Taiwan. If you do not hold a valid residence permit, you will not be able to board the plane. (Even if the departure airline accidentally releases it, the student will be directly repatriated at Taiwan Taoyuan Airport and will not be allowed to enter).
2.If you do not hold a valid ARC and plan to enter to study, please fill out the following form and notify the Overseas Students Advising Division as soon as possible. We will provide you with immigration assistance.

(三) Keep tracking Taiwan Entry Quarantine Regulations Please note that the regulation for foreign nationals entering Taiwan announced by CDC may be adjusted according to the situation of COVID-19.
