Application for the 2025–2026 Academic Year “NTU Mr. Wen Tzu-Hsiang Memorial Scholarship” Opens on 17 November

Reference: NTU Mr. Wen Tzu-Hsiang Memorial Scholarship Guidelines  
Eligible Applicants: Mainland Chinese students and Hong Kong overseas Chinese students enrolled at NTU (excluding Mainland Chinese students from the Department of Political Science).
Number of Awards: 9 recipients. Among applicants with equivalent qualifications, those with household registration in Fujian Province will be given priority, with applicants from Shanghang County ranked first.
Award Amount and Disbursement: NT$100,000 per recipient. The scholarship will be disbursed over two semesters, NT$50,000 each semester.
Eligibility Requirements:
(1) Master’s or doctoral students who are in their second year of study or above.
(2) A minimum GPA of 3.38 for each semester during enrollment, or a thesis topic that demonstrates originality.
(3) No record of disciplinary action.
Application Period: 17 November 2025 to 21 November 2025 before 17:00. Please complete the online form at https://reurl.cc/2lDe9r, and prepare all the required paper application documents. Submit them to the Overseas Chinese and Mainland Students Advising Division within the specified time to complete the application process.
Application Location: Overseas Chinese and Mainland Chinese Students Advising Division, Office of Student Affairs (Room 112, Administration Building).
Required Documents:
(1) Checklist of required documents (printable after completing the online application via the “Student Financial Aid Services (Scholarships & Grants)” system).
(2) Application form (downloadable from the attachments under the scholarship announcement).
(3) One official copy each of the complete Chinese transcript(s) and the certificate of conduct/disciplinary records (downloadable via the myNTU Student Conduct Certificate System).
(4) One letter of recommendation from a faculty member of the applicant’s department or graduate institute.
(5) One research proposal.
(6) Documents verifying provincial origin (such as an ARC, household registration card, or other documents proving the applicant’s or the applicant’s paternal direct relatives’ provincial origin).
(7) Applicants using an “original thesis topic” as the qualifying criterion must submit relevant supporting documents.
(8) Applicants with published papers must provide publication records and supporting documents demonstrating the quality of the publication(s).
(9) Any other materials relevant for review.
