[Application Announcement] 114-2 National Taiwan University Financial Aid for Underprivileged Overseas Chinese Students & “Little Universe Financial Aid” (Application Period: March 2 – March 18)

Established Guidelines for the National Taiwan University Financial Aid for Underprivileged Overseas Chinese Students and the National Taiwan University Little Universe Financial Aid.
**Applicants are only required to submit ONE application. Awards will be granted based on the priority order of review.**
Announcement Details
1.    Eligibility:Undergraduate overseas Chinese students currently enrolled at NTU who are underprivileged and do not receive tuition waivers, reductions, or scholarships provided by government agencies during the same academic year are eligible to apply.
2.    Number of Awards:The number of recipients will be determined based on the budget allocation for the academic year.
3.    Award Amount:NTD 30,000 per recipient.
4.    Application Period:From March 2 to March 18, 2026, until 12:00 noon.
5.    Application Method:Applications must be submitted online. Please arrange the required documents listed below in order, merge them into one single PDF file, and upload it to the application form.

6.    Required Documents
(1) Pending Documents List:Printed after completing the online application through the Student Financial Support Service (Scholarships & Financial Aid) system (Sample documents and SOP available).
(2) Application Form (see attachment).
(3) Certificate of Enrollment for Semester 114-2

(4) Official Chinese Transcript for Semester 114-1:Issued by the Office of Academic Affairs or printed via on-campus machines. Grade notifications or myNTU grade screenshots will NOT be accepted.
(5) Proof of Financial Hardship:Issued by an institution recognized by the Overseas Community Affairs Council (OCAC).
7.    Selection Criteria:Based on the announced quota for the academic year, the Overseas Chinese and Mainland Chinese Students Advising Division will rank applicants from highest to lowest GPA (based on the previous semester).In the event of identical GPA scores, applicants with a higher number of completed credits will be prioritized.
8.    Additional Requirement:Recipients of the “Little Universe Financial Aid” are required to personally write a thank-you letter (electronic file) and are asked to read “A Letter to Students” from the donor, Ms. Li-Huan Chen, in advance.
