2025 MOE Financial Aid for Low-Income Overseas Chinese Students
In accordance with regulations of the Ministry of Education and NTU, applications for the 2025 MOE Financial Aid for Low-Income Overseas Chinese Students are now open. Eligible students are required to carefully review the following information and complete the application within the deadline.
1. Eligibility
1. Undergraduate overseas Chinese students (including students from Hong Kong and Macau) currently enrolled at NTU and coming to Taiwan under the 'Regulations Regarding Study and Counseling Assistance for Overseas Chinese Students Returning to Taiwan' are eligible if from low-income families.
2. Sophomore students and above must meet the following conditions:
  - A passing average academic grade and a conduct grade of A or above in the previous or most recent academic year.
  - No disciplinary record at or above admonition level.
  - Not a graduate student, not in extended study period, and not receiving other government tuition waivers or financial aid.

2. Application Period
From Monday, August 18, 2025, to Friday, September 5, 2025, at 5:00 PM. Late submissions will not be accepted.
3. Application Method
Important: Please ensure all required documents are ready before uploading. The form cannot be edited after submission.
1. Log in to the myNTU Student Financial Support Service system to complete the online application and download the signed Required Document Checklist.
2. Prepare all required documents (8 items), arrange them in order, and merge them into a single PDF named “StudentID_FullName”.

3. Certificate of Financial Hardship issued by an OCAC-recognized agency (translated if not in Chinese or English)
4. Copy of student ID (front and back) and Certificate of Enrollment for semester 114-1 (available for new students after September 1)
5. Admission letter issued by the Overseas Joint Admissions Committee or high school recommendation channel
6. Official transcript (for sophomores and above only)
7. Conduct grade certificate (downloadable via myNTU → Student Affairs System → Conduct Records)
8. Transfer certificate and transcript (if applicable)
5. Award Process
The top 60 students selected for the MOE financial aid will be recommended by OCMCSAD to apply for NTU’s internal 'Hope Scholarship'.
After review by the Counseling Division Committee, approved students will be notified and disbursement will proceed accordingly.
