[Announcement for Application] The "Chinese Association for Relief and Ensuing Service Scholarship for Overseas Chinese Students from Northern Thailand and Myanmar" for 2025 is now open for applications until noon, March 18th.
1. Eligibility:
(1) Students from Northern Thailand and Myanmar who are currently enrolled in tertiary education in Taiwan (including fourth and fifth years of five-year junior colleges), facing financial difficulties, with an average GPA of 3.38 or above, or ranking in the top 50% of their class, conduct grade of A- or above, and no failing grades.
(2) Excluding government-funded students, graduate students, and students with extended study periods.
2. Scholarship Amount: NT$10,000 per recipient.
3. Application Period: From now until 12:00 noon, March 18th, 2025.
4. Application Procedure: Arrange the required documents in order (no need to bind) and submit them in hard copy to Mr. Chen of the Overseas Students Advising Division(Room 112, Administration Building).
5. Required Documents:
(1) List of documents to be submitted (printable after completing the online application through the "Student Financial Support Service (Scholarships)" system. Sample documents/print document submission list SOP).
(2) Application form (Attachment 1).
(3) Identification sticker sheet (as attached).
(4) Transcript of the first semester of the 113 academic year (to be applied for at the Registration Division or printed by machine). "Grade Notification" and "myNTU Grade Record" are not accepted.
(5) Proof of ranking for the first semester of the 113 academic year.
(6) Certificates of Honor and Discipline(download from the myNTU Honor and Discipline System)
(7) Proof of enrollment for the second semester of the 113 academic year (download from the epo system).
(8) One autobiography (in a free format, including family background, whether you are a descendant of national military personnel, educational and growth experiences, self-introduction such as interests, specialties, self-expectations, and future development directions).
(9) One photocopy of the graduation certificate from a Chinese school in Northern Thailand or Myanmar.
(10) Proof of financial hardship (issued by the Chinese school or overseas Chinese community association in the place of residence before coming to study in Taiwan).
