[Notification] CarMax Co., Ltd. "Overseas Chinese and International Students Scholarship" Application

Purpose To support the academic development of overseas Chinese and international students and foster the cultivation of professional talent, CarMax Co., Ltd. has established the "Overseas Chinese and International Students Scholarship." This scholarship aims to encourage students who are passionate about the automotive industry and have great potential to engage in related fields and enhance the competitiveness of automotive professionals in the global market.
Eligible Applicants
Undergraduate students with excellent academic records in their third or fourth year.
No specific department requirements.
Scholarship Amount Those who pass the review will receive a scholarship of NT$10,000 per student.
Quota A total of 5 awards will be granted, selected based on merit.
Application Details
Application Period: From March 1, 2025, to April 20, 2025.
Eligibility: (1) The GPA of the previous semester must be 3.38 (80 points) or higher.
(2) The student must be ranked in the top 20% of the department.
(3) No disciplinary records.
(4) Note: Those who meet the above conditions and are willing to intern at the company will be prioritized.
Application Method: Complete the application form and send it with the required documents via email to the contact person (Ms. Candace Hsiao / 03-3246336 #1885 / candace@carmax.com.tw) before the application deadline. The email subject should include "CarMax Overseas Chinese and International Students Scholarship_School/Department/Name."
Required Documents: (1) Application form (see attachment).
(2) Original university transcript and ranking certificate (authenticated by the university stamp).
(3) Behavioral performance/disciplinary record certificate.
(4) Enrollment verification.
(5) Copy of residence permit.
(6) Personal Data Collection, Processing, and Usage Consent Form (see attachment).
(7) Additional bonus items: Proof of outstanding achievements or activities from university (or higher), excellent academic performance, portfolio, etc.
Selection Method and Regulations
Selection Method: The selection will be reviewed by CarMax Co., Ltd., and the company reserves the final decision-making authority.
Award Notification: Winners will be notified via email, and school staff will be informed by an official letter.
Winners will be prioritized for internship or full-time positions (limited to 2025 graduates).
Other Information The company reserves the right to change and modify the details as necessary.
