[Announcement for Application] "National Taiwan University Financial Aid for Low-to Middle-Income Overseas Chinese Students" and "National Taiwan University Little Globe Scholarship" for the 113th Academic Year (Application Deadline: March 4 at Noon)

Based on the "National Taiwan University Directives for the Establishment of Financial Aid for Low-to-Middle-Income Overseas Chinese Students" and "National Taiwan University Proposed Directives Governing the Establishment of Little Globe Scholarship".

 

**Both assistance funds only require one application, and the awards will be determined based on the ranking order.**

 

1. Eligibility:

Undergraduate economically disadvantaged overseas students of this university who have yet to receive government subsidies, exemptions, or scholarships for tuition and miscellaneous fees in the current academic year are eligible to apply for this assistance.

2. Quota: The number of awards is based on this year's budget plan.

3. Amount: NT$30,000 per person.

4. Application Period: From now until March 4 at 12:00 noon.

(2) The application is to be submitted online. Please arrange the following required documents in order and merge them into a single PDF file. Name the PDF file "Student ID-Chinese Name" and upload it to the "Application Form".

6. Required Documents:

(1) List of documents to be submitted (printable after completing the online application through the "Student Financial Support Service (Scholarships)" system. Sample documents/print document submission list SOP).

(2) Application form (as attached).

(3) Certification of Enrollment for the second semester of the 113 academic years (download from the EPO system).

(4) Chinese transcript for the 113-1 semester (apply or print out from the Registration/Teaching and Research Section; 'Grade Notification' and 'myNTU Grade Records' are not accepted).

(5) Low-income proofPlease refer to the proof of low-income document for the issuing unit (click the link).

7. Selection: The Overseas Students Advising Division will allocate the quota according to the announcement of the current academic year. Applicants will be admitted in descending order of GPA from the previous semester. In case of the same GPA, priority will be given to those with higher credit hours completed.

8. If you are an awardee of the "National Taiwan University Little Globe Scholarship," you must personally write a thank-you letter (in electronic format) and please read the "Letter to Students" from the donor, Ms. 陳立寰, beforehand.
