Hi! We are STARTBOARD, Taiwan’s largest incubation center for startups from ASEAN countries and India. We aim to create a friendly startup ecosystem to retain talents from Southeast Asia and India. Up to now, we’ve assisted 18 teams to set foot in Taiwan.

ASEAN-India Theme Nights are regulars hosted by STARTBOARD. Over ten highly acclaimed lectures have been organized to date. With the series of events, we aspire to maximize communications between international startups and government agencies, investors and industry insiders. By means of such multilateral communication, the impacts of language barrier and culture shock are expected to be eliminated, allowing Taiwanese enterprises to successfully barge into Southeast Asia markets in addition to raising the willingness of international talents to stay in Taiwan.
東協印度主題之夜為STARTBOARD定期舉辦的講座活動，至今已經舉辦超過十場，透過此系列活動，提升台灣與各國新創團隊、政府機關、投資人及業界人士多邊交流的機會，期待藉此，降低台灣與國際人才因為語言及文化的隔閡造成的阻力，使台灣企業順利闖進東南亞市場，同時提升國際人才留台發展的意願。

• A. 【CBO of OwlTing Group】-Will Liu
Will Liu, graduating from the Department of Naval architecture and ocean engineering, National Taiwan University, with 14 years of experiences in Sales and BD in B2B & online B2C business, is currently the CBO of OwlTing Group. OwlTing specializes in e-commerce and blockchain applications, providing global travel experience, food markets, social platforms, and booking services. The OwlTing group believes that providing hotel booking is the basics and that local experiences are the heart of tourism. Their services have expanded overseas, and Malaysia is within the realm. During the event, Will Liu will share with us how they applied blockchain to Malaysian market.
• B. 【Celebrated Malaysian Youtuber】-Ccwhyao (Kao Bei Cold)
Ccwhyao is a college student from Malaysia. When he was studying at the National Taiwan University of Art, he and his friends created the youtube channel call Kao Bei Cold, which puts cultural differences between Taiwan and Malaysia under the spotlight in an interesting way. During the event, on top of introducing Malaysian culture, Ccwhyao will tell you how he became a well-known youtuber.
• C. 【Director of Malaysia Chamber of commerce in Taipei】-Yeinnie Tan
Yeinnie Tan once studied at the University of Science, Malaysia. In her junior year, she exchanged to the Communication Department of Tzu Chi University in Taiwan. After graduation, she worked in business development and practical administration in Malaysia, Indonesia and Vietnam. With years of experience in Southeast Asia, she decided to join the Malaysia Chamber of Commerce in Taipei to promote trade and investment activities between Malaysia and Taiwan. During the event, Director Yeinnie Tan will share her distinctive perspectives on Malaysia market.
